Employment Terms & Conditions
1. Rates are in Qatari Riyals.
2. Working hours: 10 hours x 26 days per month. (May vary depends on each Job role and location)
3. Overtime rates exceeding these hours will be based on 125% of the standard hourly rate, Fridays will be at 150% and holidays at 200%.
4. Bonuses given to employees with good safety & environmental practices.
5. Company provides free ticket at the end of employment period. Joining ticket + quarantine charges at employee’s expense.
6. Company provides free round-trip ticket for returning employees at employment agreement renewal.
7. Company will provide free accommodation and food or alternative allowances.
8. Company shall provide free workmen’s compensation insurance & medical insurance.
9. Employment period shall be 2 years with an option for renewal, with a 180-day probation period.
10. Annual leave 21 days / year & Indemnity is 21 days / year, subject to successful completion of employment term.
All the above marine positions are shore-based not offshore; therefore, these positions are not considered seafarers.
