Aluminum Fabrication Manager Projects shall report directly to the Department Head.
He will work closely with the Production Manager Glass and Production Manager
Aluminum and other Departmental Heads along with the Site Supervisors - Projects to
ensure the smooth flow and time management of the projects department and achieve
the company's customer satisfaction and quality standard goals. Aluminum Fabrication
Manager Projects shall also work in collaboration with the other functional
departments like Sales Administration, Human Resource and Accounts
The role is focused purely on aluminum systems aluminum curtain wall systems,
casement window systems, sliding doors and window systems and internal shopfront
systems. Majorly all profiles are extruded inhouse by our Aluminum Department and
even imported aluminum systems are used according to the clients needs.
Aluminum Fabrication Manager Projects is accountable for the organization and
overseeing the fabrication unit of the projects department, along with the smooth
running of the fabrication unit and material dispatch to all site supervisors not
compromising the quality standards set by the company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with other concerned managers to formulate objectives and understand
requirements for the projects needs of Aluminum Fabrication
2. Estimate fabrication costs and assist in preparing the proposals
3. Organize workflow to meet specification and project deadlines
4. Monitor fabrication on the floor and resolve issues
5. Supervise and evaluate performance of fabrication personnel (workers, etc.)
6. Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
7. Ensure output meets quality standards
8. Enforce health and safety precautions
9. Report to management
Other Responsibilities:
1. Collaborates and works closely with other team members design / sales /
accounts / human resource / site.
2. Innovate new aluminum system application using our vast product line to keep
our systems up to date.
3. Coordinates with Site Manager / Foremen for on time and successful site
installation completion and ensure all materials are delivered to them on time
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Proven experience as a manager in an aluminum fabrication unit
Deep knowledge of production management
Proficient in aluminum fabrication software and IT knowledge for
automated estimation and assembly list generation (Logikal - Orgadata-
Windowmaker - preferred choice of software currently in use)
Understanding the quality standards and health & safety regulations
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Detailed knowledge of currently known aluminum systems & glass
products and service.
Capable of thinking and articulating aluminum systems application
ideas and solutions to be displayed in our showroom.
Outstanding communication ability
Strong decision-making skills and a result driven approach
Can use own initiative and must pay close attention to details on hand.
Can cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
